Burovision, interior construction and furniture specialists, announced today that Gillian Oxley-Harper has joined Burovision as President and partner of Burovision Ottawa. Ms. Oxley-Harper brings a 30-year career in the contract furniture industry, holding senior roles at the Vice President and Director levels of three North American contract seating manufacturers. In 2013, Ms. Oxley-Harper founded Paradigm Shift, an Ottawa-based contract furniture agency. The new appointment reflects Burovision’s strategic plan to be a driving force in the creation, sourcing, and delivery of office environments where people love to work.
Ms. Oxley-Harper’s extensive experience with major seating manufacturers, including Allseating, resulted in successful partnerships with both independent sales representatives and dealer sellers across the Canadian and U.S. markets. Federal government sales were in excess of $35M over a 10-year period and standardization programs for major accounts were a solid representation of her ability to understand and meet long-term business objectives for customers.
At Paradigm Shift, Ms. Oxley-Harper built a brand recognized for its cohesive, curated collection of contract furniture lines, ancillary and architectural product solutions. Mc. Oxley-Harper is highly respected and recognized within the Ottawa market for her integrity, work ethic and ability to consistently solve real needs with creative approaches. Ms. Oxley-Harper’s strengths are complementary to the Burovision leadership team, with deep industry expertise and a keen focus on customer engagement and collaboration.

A passionate supporter of her community, Ms. Oxley-Harper has served for eight years as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Rachel’s Kids Development Fund: a non-profit established in 2005 that provides a positive experience for a child suffering from a life-threatening or chronic illness. The organization has raised in excess of $2.5 million dollars over 13 years to help children locally and globally.
