Workspaces by Knoll were modernized to improve efficiency and meet the Bank’s business needs. Open-concept office floors are complemented by a variety of meeting rooms and collaborative spaces throughout the building. The Head Office provides a modern and efficient work environment for some 1,500 Bank of Canada employees.

Burovision supplied iconic Knoll Studio pieces for lounge and cafe areas. Client facing or internal collaborative spaces were realized for Reception, Conference Center, Library and Crush areas. Knoll Dividends with bespoke light scale screens for workstations and low shared storage credenza. Partner and administration offices in Knoll Autostrada with streamlined open shelving.

Construction of private offices, meeting rooms and smaller phone rooms with DIRTT. Large scale media walls in main conference room. Embedded technology in reception area to welcome guests and outline daily program.

Principal workstations are Knoll Antenna and are provided in three types of workstation configurations: “L”-shape, bench and 120 degree. Social spaces like lounges, cafés, bistros, and wellness centres allow employees people to socialize at work and work in social settings. Open staircases create linked landscapes which flows traffic to promote organic “collisions” spark creativity and increase connectedness among colleagues.

Knoll open area administration workstations creatively integrate millwork style transaction counters and frosted glass to reflect the use of rich materials throughout the space. Private offices in Knoll Reff with open leg detail to support minimalist aesthetic.
