As we inch closer toward the 150th anniversary of our wonderful country, we thought what better time then to examine the impact of the colour red when used in developing a designed space. Since it’s such an important part of our Canadian flag and so closely linked to our patriotism it’s imperative to know the best way to use it.

Colour goes beyond appearance, but generates an experience. It offers an instantaneous visual way to associate meaning to a particular company or industry, and red is no exception. In fact, red is an attention-grabbing color. It’s an energetic and vivid influence within the business world.
